Directions From Kerry
Get the car ferry from Tarbart (in Kerry) to Kilimer (in Clare) In Killilmer take the N67 to Kilrush, Miltown Malbay and Lahinch. Drive through Lahinch and turn left onto the R478 and stay on this road passing through Liscannor and passing by the Cliffs of Moher. About 2-3 miles after the cliffs you come to a cross roads and a Gas Station.
Turn left down the hill towards the sea. You will arrive at 'The Cross-Roads of Doolin' facing the array of sign-posts and the gable end of a cottage behind them.
Directions From Galway
Leave Galway on the N6 in direction Dublin. When you are at the 'Oranmore Roundabout', the N6 to Dublin turns left. YOU DON'T. Go straight through the roundabout onto the N18 towards Ennis and Limerick. You go through Clarinbridge to Kilcolgan. At the end of Kilcolgan (after the petrol / gas station), turn right onto the N67. You pass through Kinvarra and Bell Harbour. When you come to Ballyvaughan, you are facing a T-junction. Turn right onto the R477. Just follow the Coast Road. You pass through Fanore and drive on for a few more miles until you come to your first right-turn Turn right onto the R479. After 1.9miles (3km) Doolin Church is on your left. Continue straight down the hill and go for 1.2miles (1.9km). You pass through Roadford and 'The Cross-Roads of Doolin' with lots of sign posts on your way until you see 'Doolin Hostel' on your left.
Directions From Limerick/Shannon
In Lmerick follow the signs for Shannon airport or Ennis. Take the N18 from Limerick to Ennis.
Take the N85 from Ennis to Ennistymon via Inagh. Drive
straight through Ennistymon towards Lisdoonvarna on the N67. At the 2nd
crossroads after the village of Kilshanny,turn left onto the R478. This
road will bring you to Doolin. After 3 miles you come to a cross roads
and a Gas Station. Go straight on down the hill towards the sea. You
will arrive at
'The Cross-Roads of Doolin' facing the array of sign-posts and the gable end of a cottage behind them.
Directions From The Cross-Roads of Doolin
Turn to the left. After a few hundred yards you see
'Doolin Hostel' on your left.Just after the Hostel you turn right over
the bridge into Fisherstreet. A few houses further on, O'Connor's Pub is
on your right with a seating area on the left.
Two houses after the pub a laneway turns off to the right.
A hundred yards up the laneway you come to a sharp
right-turn. Follow the turn for another hundred yards and at the next
turn head straight on through the gate in front of you.
